Born in Magenta in 1957, he is the founding partner, together with his brother Aldo Mainini, a chartered accountant, of Mainini & Associati.

After graduating from the Catholic University of the Sacred Heart in 1985, he continued his university career, becoming an expert in tax law. He then chose to pursue a career solely as a lawyer, first in the law firm of Prof. Tesauro and Prof. Allorio, then in the law firm of Maupoil, and subsequently at Mainini & Associati.

He has held numerous positions on boards of statutory auditors and supervisory committees of joint-stock companies, including listed companies, credit institutions, and asset management companies, as well as in some extraordinary administrations of national importance.

He is the reference lawyer for two Ministries and the Courts of Milan and Monza.

He is a statutory auditor, trustee, and judicial custodian, and represents clients before the Higher Courts.

He deals with civil law, corporate restructuring, insolvency proceedings, and labour law. A member of the Milan Golf Club, he is a passionate golfer.
