Born in Magenta in 1960, he is the founding partner, together with his brother Pier Angelo, a lawyer, of Mainini & Associati.

He graduated from the University of Urbino and is a member of the Milan Association of Chartered Accountants and Accounting Experts and the Register of Auditors, as per Ministerial Decree of 12/04/1995, published in the Official Gazette no. 31 bis.

He is the chairman and a member of several Boards of Statutory Auditors in leading national companies, including listed companies.
